Perched on the side of a mountain, about 1/4 mile above the Wild and Scenic Trinity River sits the town of Willow Creek and Coho Cottages. Situated between the Trinity Alps Wilderness and Redwoods National Park, we are located in the world's largest Douglas Fir forest.

Sometimes it's hard to believe we are a part of California. Compared to the rest of the state, our climate is different, our trees are bigger and greener, and the people think differently as well. We are, in fact, the very southern tip of the Pacific Northwest.

Our family has called Willow Creek home now for over 100 years. We know the history, lore, and the land, and are happy to share with you secret locations and anecdotal tales of the locals.

Willow Creek is very much a small town in transition. What we are becoming only time will tell. It's exciting times for sure! A renaissance of small farms and vineyard are rounding out an already diverse local culture. Steelhead fishing remains a strong activity as well as river paddlesports.

Coho Cottages is uniquely located as a base camp for adventure or lazy days of kicking back and taking it all in.
